Hi all. A little while ago I started a post looking for the location of the PX #'s that were supposed to be on the under surface of the block. Well I've taken everything apart and I don't think that my block was stamped with this code starting with PX. I just can't find 'em. However there are some letters on the pan surface in three different locations. A "C" on the rear pass side, another "C" under the vin # pad, and a "B" next to the oil filter. Do these letters signify anything? and is it unusual not to have the PX####### there at all?

Not sure about PX numbers but the A, B and C I believe are bore sizes to correspond with a particular piston.

Thanks Meep. I think I'm wrong about the PX, should be PT for trenton where the engine was built followed by the numbers. Still I can't find 'em anyway. Thought that maybe seemed a bit strange as everything i've read always mentions those numbers as a way of indentifying its origins.
