I have a cast crank 440 and it has a weighted balancer.I have a race converter that was on my forged crank motor---can I usethis conv. if I put a weighted flex plate on the motor--Thanks Mike
I was thinking of using the B and m flex plate with the weight on it as I do not have any of the original stuff (flex and conv.)all that I have from the crank back is from the previous forged crank motor ( b&m flex plate--not weighted---and race 9.5 "---never had a cast motor--have no idea what to do --guessing that the motor has not been internally bal. because of the weighted bal. on the front-- Mike
I agree with your assessment. As long as the B&M plate is for the application (and I don't think there are any other possibilities) you should have no issues. But like I said, you will know if it's wrong.
