440 Super Commando Engine

I am purchasing a '68 GTX with a Super Commando 440 Engine with two 4's. I was told that the two 4's was an option on this engine that could be purchased back in '68. Is this correct?

I doubt it. AFIK, 2 4bbls were only available in the late 50s and early 60s, except for the Hemi.

I Think in '67 dodge RT the 2 4's / 440....could be certified dealer purchased & installed option.....

No. Call it dealer or owner installed if you want but it was not an option that could be ordered from the factory. Aftermarket only.
