This belongs to a friend of mine: this is NOT FOR TRADE but FOR SALE! There was an error while submitting this post...
68 440, bored +.030", honed with BHJ block plate, forged crank (std/std), TRW flat tops 2286 +.030, DC rods P4120516, balanced, block is deburred, painted inside and out, cam bearings, file fit rings, etc. I helped him build this in 1989 but it never got fired after the build. Along the way, it got traded but that deal fell through so it got repo'd. 8-9 years ago it ended up at my shop, got torn down due to the Lubriplate gumming it up and couldn't turn it over so apart it came. The parts were solvent washed and bagged but never oiled so there is some light surface rust on some of the rod caps, not bad just light. This is a short block only, no heads, no pan or pick-up, it does have a 284 DC hyd cam (no lifters), new DC single bolt roller timing set, etc. Basically it needs to be re-cleaned, re-lubed and re-assembled as it is currently apart. He's no longer interested in playing with Mopars and has other interests that are consuming his time... sound familiar? $1500, located in northern Calif, an hour from the Oregon border. PM me here if you've an interest, thanks.
