Great job! Really makes me miss my 75 Coronet Brougham (triple black, alum slots,E58 360/727). Gotta say my vote would be spend an afternoon with with buffing pad and Mothers on the slots but I'm old school... love the car regardless!

thank you, i am old school too, i was born in 67. and funny you mention it,but my 15x10 and 15x6 slots are being polished as we speak.should have them back in a couple weeks ...

im loving this car, it looks WAY better with the stripes and scoop. GREAT JOB! i think the centerlines look better with that body style than cragars but they're both sharp.

I just saw the post about slots. They are gonna look the best for sure. id love to find a set of those.

do you mean like the richard petty style magnum nascar roundy round car with a charger? that would be awesome. these body styles, for some are hard on the eyes, but thats what i like about them. not many people take a chance and throw money at them, but i have no regrets. this thing turns heads everywhere i go . 99% of people that comment think it is a cordoba, or a monte carlo !
Yep thats just the look he is looking for.....I think its a little to nice to gut so I may have to nudge him in a more street friendly version

here are a few pics of some old adds.im sure most of you have seen them already.but i wanted to get them in one spot...

Those are cooler than Dean Martin in a meat-locker! I didn't even recognize King Richard in the picture, I had to read the ad copy to find out WHO it was that is hooked on Charger Daytona. And is that a TV Tommy Ivo car? Or did sombody co-opt that name in the 70s? I recently saw some vintage ads for the Charger Midnight edition, 3 or 4 of em. I wish I could remember where they were, I'd put em up here with the others.
Good stuff, thanx Super77se.

as far as know, the mr norms 75 charger flopper was turned over to TV tommy ivo and the rod shop dodge campaign and then retired in 77. there is just really no information out there on these. the 75-77 chargers and cordobas were rarily seen in any media and the adds and promos are just about non existant. i would love to have a thread dedicated to nothing but 75-77 chargers and cordobas in the spotlight, which is what im wanting to accomplish here.there just seems to be no interest in them by many people, maybe thats because it is all about the 68-74 muscle car B bodies, the R/T ,the Bees and what not. i have searched the internet and clicked on links and spent many hours searching for any info on drag racing and nascar history and im coming up empty..but the search continues...please post up whatever you can find!!!

just read thru your thread, gotta say i like what you've done with the hood and stripes.have always been a big fan of the way they did the paint scheme with the later charger daytona's.my first wife and i had a 76 charger w/360. had power and ride comfort.Yours is looking good!!!

Those cars need a few hundred pounds of cement in the trunk to level them off.

I'm having flashbacks to the late 70's when I was in High School:headbang: Car looks great!!!
