5.7 Hemi

Had me worried for a few seconds there.... I thought this was bad news about a fellow member.

My sister had a lil' over 100k on her 2017 Chrysler 300s
my dad bought her, in Nov 2017, registered/insured in mine & his name too
insurance stuff on our bundle :blah:
but it got crushed by a 175+ y/o Oak tree 6' across, the trunk fell on the garage, totaled it
& 1/2 the house & most the garage in a high wind event in Red Bluff Ca.

It wont ever see any more miles

I told her to take that tree out before it took out her house

I wish I could have got the leather seats out of before they hauled it off
I wanted the engine too, but the motor was cracked almost in 1/2 most the way around,
you could barely see the crack, most of it, at the back by the trans it was 1/8" open
but it was there, so was the trans right behind the bellhousing,
cars front end took a huge tree trunk, tried to push it thru a concrete garage floor

she (I should say we) only got $17k from the crooks at the insurance co. too

How many miles on yours ?
I'd buy a burger for anyone that has more miles than I do. On this truck....

I'm just at 408,000 now. Original engine, transmission, rear axle. (though I swapped from 3.55 to 3.92 gears)
I still have the original alternator, power steering pump and A/C compressor though I have changed the starter, water pump and EGR valve.
I bought a spare to swap in when this one conks out but it just keeps running....

That is a 2007.
That was one year that Ma Mopar had a Lifetime Powertrain warranty. Sadly, this truck was not eligible since it was used as a personal vehicle for the store manager. I bought it in November 2007 with 3104 miles. I was the first registered owner but for some reason, the truck wasn't covered under that program. It didn't matter in the long run, the powertrain has not been a problem.

That has to be a trick question.
Nothing lasts this long by ignoring maintenance. I've serviced the transmission around every 75,000 miles. Two filters and 5 1/2 quarts of ATF+4.
I've replaced the transmission shift solenoid twice. Two radiators, two A/C fans. Original U joints in the drive shaft. The axle has been serviced numerous times. I've gone through countless rotors and pads, tires and 4 or 5 sets of shocks. I'm on the second serpentine belt though.

187,000 on my '13 Durango. Only issues have been water pumps (failed catastrophically every 70,000 miles), motor mounts, broken exhaust manifold bolts, oil pressure sending unit, and now a badly leaking oil pan. Pretty dang trouble free IMO; water pump is the only thing that left me stranded and frustrated, but at least it's easy to replace.

I've owned a few, never kept them long enough to talk about. My 65 Coronet has right at 25,000 miles and it's, start it and go. I bought it with the thought that I was done working on cars and this one would take me to the finish line, I was right.

One of my go to the lake cars over the years was a 2007 Sebring. Lifetime warranty was included. Although I replaced it with a 2012 Chrysler 200, I know many that traded for 2007 cars for the warranty. Your truck would have been designate a demonstrator. You got a really good one!!

Converted, thats 643,000 kms.... insane.
Up here, if that was an '11, '12'13, you'd be on your 3rd motor by now if you were lucky.
I haven't dealt with as many hi- miler older rams, they mostly start to disintegrate.
My brother has an 06 with about 120 mi, and it's got piston slap from hell, especially at -38

I "rebuilt" the front end last year but the LCA bushings are still original. I've replaced both front hubs. Original steering rack is still tight.
Axle bearings, leaf springs, still original.
I'd love for someone to drive it without looking at the odometer and guess the miles it has.
