500 cfm edelbrock dual carbs

hey guys what jets and meter rods are yall using in the set up with a ch28 edelbrock intake? im in the middle of tenneessee so high altitude set ups would be way off base for me. im running nss class this yr, plan on the 11.50 index. i have the 590 cam and 906 heads 11 to 1 compression who has a similar combo?

I would highly suggest you buy a Book on "how to tune Edelbrock/Carter Carburetors for performance/racing", maybe go to www.edelbrock.com they use to have a calculator for their carbs, to give you a base line only, I believe they also have a book/cd you could purchase also... If your going to be racing you will need an assortment of rods/jets etc. the Relative air density/altitude changes Weather station would be a good idea too, along with weather changes, sun or clouds etc. to make the proper jet/metering rod changes... You will need to know all the variables, to do the tuning correctly, there isn't just one specific # you will use & every engine will be different depending on many different factors even if they are built identically... you could try Mancini Racing web site also they sell many tuning books {like in the last 2 photos} & many appropriate tuning parts also
