50th Daytona Turkey Run 2023

Anyone coming to to the Daytona Turkey Run this year? 50th annual show and it looks like it will be a big turnout.

Drove up this morning. Car ran smooth with no issues cruising around 80 mph. Went by the track for a bit to get registered and eat lunch. Was surprised by how busy it was. Don't recall seeing this many people/cars there on Thursday before, certainly not since Covid.

Stop by and say hi if you come.

Didn't walk around much today - we'll do plenty Fri/Sat, but saw a few Mopars nearby.

Overcast with scattered light rain/mist today plus it was cool with a steady wind out of the north so we mostly stayed close to the cars and hung out under the canopy a lot. Spent time visiting with our friends and talking with people interested in my car.

Parked next to a really nice 67 Charger and saw a few more Mopars in the area today.

Hoping the weather will be better tomorrow. Regardless, we plan to do a lot more walking around the swap meet and checking out the cars.
