55-pounds of dog food per week. What's you bill?

If you eat the cat right after it eats the duck then you'd have two different meats at the same sitting. Now what would you want for your two vegetables?

Cat couldn't take those ducks on even my dogs run away from them

Was thinking on getting two more female ducks or some chickens
We're running out of eggs all the time now two more a day should cover it

Question for those who go through so much food... Are you feeding your dog based on the dog food manufacturers recommendation? Cause the first thing my vet mentioned was they are selling food, they want your dog to eat as much as they can... If I fed based on the recommendation of the food manufacturer I'd be going through more than twice as much food as I do.... And picking up three times as much feces...

Hill's Prescription Diet for skin allergies. $103.00 per 25# bag. Feeds 1 90lb Pit , 2 small terriers. 2 bags month plus treats.

1 Lab & 1 husky about 50lbs a month plus dog treats raw hides and the 3 second rule at the dinner table.

I get 50 or 55-pound bags of Pedigree dry dog food a week. The Newfoundlands can really eat. I watched them just now. Two of them actually chew/crunch a little but the big male just vacuums it in. It's usually about $28 bucks a bag.

Did anyone else have a crazy dog food bill?

Sorry for the Your/you misspell. I just noticed it.
Holy cow! I get almost a month out of a bag that size for my Chesapeake Retriever!

We had a Newfoundland in the family when I was a kid,. I do recall he ate a ton! A friend showed up in the winter time and the dog wanted to play.. he ended up eating his mitten. My dad said oh stick around you’ll get it back shortly!

Rebel goes through approximately 50 lbs of quality kibbles (2 different kinds) each month....... he also gets a cooked chicken leg quarter (deboned) or a big helping of turkey (we cook 1-2 turkeys each month, mainly for him) mixed with his kibbles each night...... often times he gets finicky, and i add a can of tuna (probably 15-20 per month) and/or a hard boiled egg or 2.....dude likes to eat

about every 10 days, he will skip a meal no matter what it is; but eats a double the following day...... I never seen anything like it

In ways Huskies are really smart... But certainly have a streak of really dumb in their genes..

#6 That we rescued from Humane Society s around WI over the years

She is a pup , and has eaten garden hoses , lights , dog bowls , deck boards , my other Husky

I came home one day after work , she ate the internet coax cable that ran up the vinyl siding to the junction box , and with it tore the vinyl siding off the house because of the clips

These Huskies have a full acre , 6’ high fence , to keep them occupied, and she is the first one to eat my house

With My first husky, I did a Renovation of my kitchen. And just finished dry walling & painting. The wife & I went out for diner and came back to a 3ft whole in the wall.

We have 6 cats and a Corgi. We also feed about 20-30 cats at a feral colony.

We were going through one 40 pound and one 13 pound bag of cat food plus a case of canned every two weeks.

Price has been a wash between chewy.com and wal-mart with the difference that chewy delivers to the door step but can take a few days.

The Corgi has been deciding she won't eat any of the numerous brands of food we get for her past the second bowl !@#$%^&*!

Within the past month, my wife found out that SPCA will give free food to people who feed feral cats and we have gone once after registration to get a blister pack of six 3.5 pound bags and 6 cases of canned. All it cost was the first trip all the way across two cities to register and that trip again to pick up.

She also found a place that gets damaged pallets of pet supplies from truck freight carriers at pennies on the dollar or free.
They then sell to the public for about 30 to 50% store price.

Last week she bought a 30# bag of wheat husk based litter there for $5.
We've been using flushable/biodegradable wheat based litter for over a decade.
sWheat scoop and World's Best brands usually mixed.
2/3 of it goes into the septic tank and the other third goes out the side door to feed the ferns I'm trying to coax into the hard to mow strip on a grade between the driveway and the property line.

Not having cat crap in the garbage = priceless.

Add 40# Bags of Bird Feed to my monthly bills

Feral cats are the reason that coyotes have moved into Florida. Once the cats have been eaten the coyotes will move on to small dogs, just like California. Australia is a prime example of the problem. Animals breed according to food source. Pythons, Iguanas, Tagu Lizards, Nutria, Armadillos and cats are invaders by human hands.

55 lbs of dog food = 55 lbs of dog poop. Hope you trained them to use the toilet! BOMBs Away!

But it's human's fault, not the cat's.

TNR is the humane way to start to resolve the situation.

Development into the natural habitat is also to blame for many "aggressive" species migrating into human inhabited areas.
