Data shows the longer videos do better. People apparently get turned off on the time lapse also. We’ve put in an effort to get to 20 minutes.you don't see that every-day
pretty cool in a redneck way
those videos could be condensed into about 10:00 min each
had to ffwrd thru most of it

If you say soData shows the longer videos do better. People apparently get turned off on the time lapse also. We’ve put in an effort to get to 20 minutes.
I don’t mind the criticism. Heck you’re one of my dearest. Hard guy to please regardless of what I post. But to your credit you keep it respectful. Yea I review the data. We have all kinds of videos. From 50 seconds to 40 minutes. I read all the comments. Plus I watch a lot of other channels. The revenue sharing on the longer videos is better. The hours watched are higher. The view count is typically better. On the longer videos the viewer has the option to click off, fast forward, skip the commercials or watched an unscripted video of how things develop. On the short videos they have the option to click off. My channel is basically a vlog of the stuff we do in our locations. The videos on the race cars don’t do well but I post them anyway because there’s about 60 or so that enjoy them & watch them all & I enjoy making them. The shop videos do much better but are a royal pain to make. The car show videos kinda fill in the middle. And are the backbone of the channel along with the junkyard tours. Some do great & others poorly. A few months ago a video we posted was a vlog style & about 12 minutes long. Lots of comments. One guys said when are you going to shut up. Another guy said I love your vlogs. Please do more. LOL so yea if it’s not your cup of tea click it off. I sure do. There’s a lot of videos I click off after a minute or so.If you say so
10:00 min.s vs 2-3:00 min.s maybe
Sorry not in my case, it doesn't, not 30:00+ mins
unless something keeps my attention or interests
not just people meandering around, doing nothing for most of the/that time
you know those people
most of US here don't
call it constructive criticism (or call me an asshole for saying it)
don't get me wrong,
I do like the content,
not trying to tell you what to do (sort of anyway)
just too much of nothing happening, for my tastes
(many wouldn't ever say anything either)
showing a body on a lift or a car being unloaded
(too long of content)
with nothing happening for multiple min.s at a time
will lose people (interests) or like me fast fwd to the next scene
I know a lot of people won't even watch 'if it's too long' in content
maybe a few diehards will
the rest don't have time for it or will just move on
maybe leave a like 'to be cool or to be liked'
IMHO
you have to keep people's interest,
too long or adding time, doesn't always apply
too long or stuff videos doing/showing the same things
or nothing really happening, for multiple min.s at a time
is a different story
IMHO
people will not watch a 30-40 min. video
unless it really peeks their interests
not in today's 'instant gratification' society
opinions will vary, that's mine
keep on doing your deal, I will keep fast forward thru them
if you put it out to the public, expect some criticisms
