so found a 59 dodge panel van for sale today. good news = cheap $1800 , 4 new-rebuilt brakes . steering is loose... why so cheap i ask, does it have a chevy engine or something? yep ! 35o running good supposaddly out of a vet. 350 turbo with floor shift. rear end is possi with unknown gearing at least(chub again). runs drives stops. solid frame, chevy front end, but still straight axle. metal is fair with new tin on top and floor boards installed. enough bondo and not good enough job so there is not fooling anyone it ain't there. sorry no camera today . will pop some pics wed. . all glass there and electrics work. cheap parts hauler. I got the cash and space. I have a complete 318 poly and drive train out of my 64 440.

Can't wait to see the pics, I love the old vans.

very hard to find those...I have a 59 window-less Dodge panel 4x4...360/4speed...bad windshield...$475 for a front glass...make sure yours/soon to be is good..they aren't cheap...but man they are a cool ride

forgot the cammera, bought it , floor 3 speed with a dodge rear with limited slip!

If it's one of these, I like it!

so where do you get parts? i want to replace the bushings in the front end, and a steering damper, if that dosnt cure the loose steering a new or tight used steering box. venders? ...two hours later got the front end stuff on order and the steering damper , rock auto. same place offers a rebuild service for the steering box $250 . would have prefered a core charge with the two week turnaround . only other option i found was over $600 for new. not in my budget as i want to put on disc in front asap. need to sort out some kind of blinker system and a passenger seat quick like to. hit the bone yard for that , see if i can find something from a conversion van with swivel seats and seatbelts. projects..... anyone know of a good forum for this "truck"?

very cool bud.....but the 58 on up had dual headlights..those look like 56-57 front fenders...very nice looking ride...I love mine I bet yours is a blast!

I wonder what the deal is with the single Head lights also... here's a 58 W-100 green one, it has single head lights but the 59-60 W-100 & D-100 have duals, I wonder if it's an early production run or something...
