Anyone tried using PTFE hose to launch off a barb fitting using fuel injection clamps? Likely have to heat it up with a heat gun to soften it to get it started. I can't find any references in doing this either positive or negative.

There is hose out there made by many manufacturers that are push-loc and good to 250 p.s.i. with no clamps needed. It's not your "run of the mill" hose sold at most auto supply stores. Go to a local hydralics supply outlet, tell them what your doing and they will hook you up with the right hose, the right fittings for that hose and the right combination of fittings to solve your issue. I run 55 p.s.i. on my TBI system without a single clamp in the system - been that way for 3 years. I use Aeroquip hose with push-loc fittings available in all AN sizes and configurations. Go with JIC fittings and save a ton of cash over those pretty colored ones.
