Very cool interior. The car is going to be sweet.

Great to see/hear progress Rick. This is a car so "done right", and great to see in a '62 Dart!!

Need help turn signal lenses

Anyone have a good set of front turn signal lenses for my 62. I saw a set on e bay for $600 or so but that is just a ridiculous price. I don't mind paying a fair price but???????????

Hey RVW, do you think you'll have the 62 ready for Mopars at the Red Barns this summer? I'd love to see the car in person. Ken

It will definitely be there. Got the car tuned today and shot a video of it running but can not get the video to transfer to the board. Actually going to try and have it ready for the Mega Mopar show at Martin US 131 on May 17th. Mopars at the Red Barns will be Saturday July 25th

First test drive

took the Dart out today for a short trial run. Everything went well now need to get final front end aligned and some final tuning. Should have it pretty much done just in time for winter.

Excellent, car looks fantastic. Are you going to hit the Woodward cruise this week?

No the car is not ready for that yet maybe next year

She looks magnificent Rick, more pics/vid would be appreciated. Perhaps upload vids to youtube and embed here or post links...

Rick, looks like a quality build and I want everybody to know that I am bringing in a 62 Dodge 330 4 door sedan with 318 auto air p/s on 8/19/15. It is a complete car minus the upper dog leg chrome on the grill, pass. side. It is a rust bucket and fenders are savable. Just PM me with your needs and I will see just how good everything is when I get it home. Torsion bars are in the trunk. Did I say rusty. Glass and most chrome is good. Lots of parts.

Rick, please, please , please post some more pics or vid of your beautiful 62 Dart finished??!!

How does it perform?

Sorry I have not posted in a while been working on my 66 Hemi Car and the 64 Plymouth Race car. Have only taken the Dart up and down the road a couple of times and just need to tweek a couple of issues and take it and get the front end aligned. The engine is very strong actually a little to strong for "just a driver". I can just blow the tires off any time in 1st gear with a 2:73 rear gear. Still waiting on George Laurie from Australia for my parking light lenses to arrive other than that I finally have all the parts needed to finish her up I will have it ready for the road in the spring. Also starting another 64 Plymouth Savoy 426 street wedge 4 speed car this winter. Slowing down in my "old" age.
