63 belevdere No Power to dash

I was working on the dash and while I was putting it back something "shorted" the alt gauge still has power and the gas gauge works but I lost power to the lights in the dash ? any suggestion fuses are good.

Ouch. I'm not an expert but I would check the printed board on the gauge cluster for a burnt run. It can be repaired by soldering a jumper wire to the broke section. No fusible link on your car. May have also done damage to the gauge v.r. or even the engine v.r. Been there, done that. Always pull the pos and neg terminals from the battery before working an anything electric.
