Help----has anyone got a pic or can tell me how to put these things together right.I have a single speed set up and want to make sure where the link with 2258554 R goes.--is it the short link to the passenger side or the drivers side and is it connected to the motor end of the bracket or ?????---as usual this stuff is very old and I can't tell clearly from the manual----Thanks Mike

If memory and my pics serve, the slightly shorter one goes to the passenger side.

Thanks for the response--I have a single speed 65 just like that on my bench beside all the 63 parts--only thing is the 62/63 are different from the 65--bracket , arms and pivots all appear to be different.I found a really good pic on Mosher's site of the arms and such, now just have to find out which side the short one goes on.I would probably have been fine but I read the manual where it said the R's had to match--well I don't think they do---Mike

Oops I meant to add thaose pics are from my 64. Yep I use Mosher's site all the time for stuff like that. http://Www.musclecarrestorations.com also has tons of helpful pics.

Is the 63 like mine where the motor is offset slightly to one side? To be clear are you asking about the long actuator rods? if so... That made it clear which side got the shorter arm.

63 wiper arms

tomorrow when I feel a bit better I am going to crawl into car to measure from the center of the bracket mount to the wiper pivots.I did not realize at first how different the 62-65 cars are in some of the small details-This is all part of turning a fifty year old race car back I guess , which I hope to have done before spring----Thanks again --Mike

Thanks---well I finally got it all figured for now--that pic is the right stuff for 62-63---the short arm goes on the drivers side for these cars and the bracket is different as are the pivot arms--the pivots themselves seem to be the same but don't have the knurled knob on the top---seems like they added that .possibly because of nobody could get the wipers off with that nut on there --just a guess--Mike
