Not much of an update yet........ depending on others at this point. Dropped her off at the chassis shop today. Helmet bar will be installed, ladder bar/coil over kit, motor plate and chute mount. Supposed to be done this Saturday :/ The car will be headed to the paint shop after this. Shooting for 8.90's :)

Adam, go with e chassis engineering triple adjustable outlaw ladder bars. im a dealer if you want them. best ladder bar out there imo. complete adjustability made simple too.
you going with a funny car cage? 8.90's will definitely be awesome and doeable with your combo. just keep the weight down.good luck

I went with the outlaw ladder bars and Strange double adjustables.

sounds like fun, more photos & more updates... sounds like it will be a runner

Drive train specs? estimated weight? I'd love to go 8.90. I don't see my 64 doing it at its current power level and weight. Aprox 875-900hp at 3340 In good air I might see 9 teens @147. In the heat so far 9.30@146. Good luck in your quest

588 aluminum block, CNC'd B1 originals, cam in the .820 lift range, lots of compression, DANA 60 4.30 gear, 727 with all the tricks. Hoping it will dyno in the 1050-1100HP range....... we'll see. Not sure on the weight of the whole rig, seems like every time you take weight away you add it back in somewhere else.

I'm sur the B-1s should help. What intake and carb? I run an Indy Xram w/ 2 eddys. I'm at 3340 w/driver. All steel, steel bumpers, lexan, old school wheels,2 batterys. Ran [email protected] last night

I have the adapters to run the Indy Xram, which I have and I also have the single dominator B1 intake. When I run NSS I'll have to run the Xram. Car has a glass hood and glass bumpers, A100 seats, Weld wheels. I'm definitely curious on where my weight will wind up.

I saw on the other update post, car is looking great... my wild a$$ guess is 2990#'s

looks like allot of steel in the car still... very cool none the less thou

Steel body, glass bumpers, hood, and deck, lexan, 1 battery. 2900 w/o driver.

that's lighter than I would have thought... interesting

I based it on mine. If it has a moly cage. Mine w/o driver 3120. Glass bumpers -45, aluminum block instead of mega block -150, glass deck lid and hinges -45, -1 battery-45, fire system -15= 2820. Mines got quite a few "lite tricks" I say 2900
