OK, here is are the next questions. 1) will the hood and d-lid from a 64 belvedere fit a 330 post? I know the doors and the roof line are different along with the rear quarters. 2) I need a 64/65 BB (hemi) K-Member to replace the /6 k member. I read a thread here regarding some for sale but they were dated 2010, probably gone by now. 3) What about the torsion bars. Buy new?
Thanks...

1. dont know
2. If using a b/rb or small block, the k member is the same, /6 k and hemi k are engine specific.
3.Torsion bar depend on what your plans are for the car, drag, use /6, cruise, use factory, corner carver, use aftermarket, and this also has alot to do with engine size.

You can use a V8 k-frame then just use the Schumacher mounts.Way cheaper then trying to find a Hemi k-frame.

Yes,
You can use a V8 K-member BUT it needs to be of that era. Not a newer K-member. If you use a later model (I think after 67) it sits the engine too far back (or too far forward, I cant remeber)
Call Schumacher for the mount conversion kit. His are the best and are a great fit. Great customer service too.
Yup, that is Mr. Dale Reed with my Max Wedge.

The hoods and trunklids are different. The trunk lids are completely different and the hoods have different ridges but may physically bolt on. Just won't look right.

Thanks for all the leads and education. I'll start the search for the Hemi k-member and probably go with fiberglass hood and deck. The way it looks i'll use factory Torsion bars...

hi,i have a big block k member from a 65 ply.i put a 70 e-body one in my car.pm me if you want it,it is a big block one,mark

65 HemiHead is right. You can use the K member you have and either get aftermarket mounts or just use elephant ears.
If you go with 67 and later Hemi K member it will set your engine back 1". It's not a bad thing other than if you plan on running a Mopar Performace Crossram. The back of the passenger side of the intake will hit the fire wall.

The 6 Cyl K member is lighter so if it were mine that's the K Member I would go with.

Thanks I'll let you know. I have a call in to ShakerHood.com to check availability. They are a little salty, at least from those guys.
