64 Belvedere Thoughts????

I backed out of the deal.Was asking more ?s and he told me of rust near the corners of the windsheild.Something he hadnt mentioned before when i asked about the cowl area,so who knows what else is hiding or i am not being told.I may just keep the RR as it is rock solid.

I don't know. Seems to me that it all depends upon how much you like the car. I agree with the above poster that said even trade. Niether one of them is original but yours is a little further on in terms of work that's been done to it.

I don't think I'd let the cowl rust thing be a total deal breaker. If there are any early B-bodies out there that don't have issues in that area it's probably because someone already fixed it, and that might not necessarily be a good thing depending on who did the fixin'.

Can you actually go look at this car and see for yourself?

Done deal,sitting in my shop now.Not as bad as i envisioned when he told me about the rust.Better than a WI car but not as good as a dry western car.63,000 original miles,interior is all original stuff and isnt to bad.Definate gear swap is in order.Was a 6 cyl 3speed on the floor car.Need to raise the a$$ end a couple inches,gear swap.Runs and sounds very good.
