64 Fury Push-Button to 4-Speed Conversion

Photo from above post...sorry!

Looking for a bit of advice and/or photos. I'm converting a '64 Fury Convertible from push-button to 4-speed. I have all the parts and am well underway with the swap. I was planning to install the engine and transmission this weekend, but need to cut the hole in the floor for the shifter. I ordered a new 4-speed transmission hump from Jamie at Passon Performance. It fits very nicely. I'm wondering if I should simply cut the hole for the shifter to protrude through the floor, or should I cut out the perimeter of the entire replacement hump? Pics of your conversion are appreciated. Go EAGLES!
nice! Good luck with the swap. Question, still have your pushbutton cables?

Yes. Push button and park brake cables. PM me if you are interested.

No. I disassembled the transmission from the bell housing. We installed the engine from the top, then installed the transmission from underneath. I doubt it would have been possible to install the whole thing, assembled from the top. On top of that, I had the chain for the hoist bolted to an alternator bolt hole in each of the heads. I don't have a removal plate or specialty tools to install an engine. I was nervous that the extra weight would be too much for that set up. Got scared! Worked perfectly. This is the team of knuckle draggers that helped me.
