Hey guys. I bought a set of Mopar performance after market max wedge heads from summit and the valve covers are six bolt style instead of four. I have a set of four bolt but need the six to work on these heads. Where whould be the best place to get a set with the proper oilfill and breather cap set up??

The only difference on the mw covers and the reg.b-b covers is the mws don't have the wire clips on the right cover for the coil-alt wires! Are your covers chrome or bare? I have the correct pcv valve for the early big and small blocks(metal).$36.00 shipped in the cont. U.S.

if your covers are good with a good gasket 4 bolt shouldn't leck I never use all six bolts.I tighten them with screw driver handle 1/4inch.7/16 and have no leaks.I permatc one side of the gasket and put grease on the other side so I can take it off and on many times...if that helps...........Artie

All 1964 426 MW engines are Stage III heads with cast in rocker stands and 6-bolt valve covers. If you're building a 64' and you want the look use the 6-bolt cover. The 413 MW, 426 MW, & 426 Stage II heads used 4-bolt valve covers, if I'm not mistaken.

If building a Max Wedge, this is the correct PCV.

That looks like an inline dual quad intake!! The wiring harness runs along the pass side inner fender panel. Also the heater hoses run along the drivers side panel! I've never seen a PCV like that on a 63-64 MW! It might be correct for the 62s? But I don't think so.

i will back that up. The brass fitting is correct through 64. Started in use in 62. Also 64 valve covers do not have a raised ramp on the cover to the stacks. ie it's flat. 65's had that added. So it is sort of a one year only cover, and yes they could have been used up in early 65 production, and late 63's they did get started in use.
