This is why I don't do roofs anymore, don't want to pull a Chick Hearn and be
down for the count while I'm in the refrigerator, the door's closed, the lights are out,
the eggs are coolin' and the butters' gettin' hard !!
Wife gets a little irritated, no more X-Mas lights on the house up high anymore.
We just put them around the bottom of the whole house, now, a lot easier and safer for this old guy.
I hope the surgery goes well and you're back in that Mopar soon !!
My Surgery is set for Friday. Long wait. I guess it's because he's a foot and ankle specialist. I was in the ER again today due to severe pain when I elevated the leg. The more I elevated it, the worse the pain was, which is the opposite of how it should be. The doc found a big blister on the top of my foot that he drained (photo not included, but I do have one). He also loosened the splint, which was too tight. I got a prescription for Oxy that will get me through the week after the tiny prescription of Vicodin they had given me ran out this morning. They really keep a tight hold on those pills. It's feeling a lot better than it did this morning. It's weird to think that it won't get better every day like it will after the surgery. I'm just laying here with a mess inside of my leg and foot waiting for Friday. I'll have 6 weeks of no weight bearing rules after the surgery.
Other than that, it's a fun time!
Still thankful it isn't worse and for all you guys and your well wishes.
