Hi,
there is "some" cancer and bondo at the lower rear part of both front fenders of my 65 coronet 500. Anyone with an idea where I can get the lower part as marked in the photo?

sorry for stealing the picture out of another thread

Another question is if there is a difference between a coronet 440 and coronet500 fender. Or can I use this section of a 65 Plymouth as well? Any ideas?

If someone has to offer those, go ahead...

Thanks a lot in advance!

It would be better to repair the original,if it's not too bad!As long as the edges and inner brace are solid!Need a pic of your fender. There are replacement lowers available! The ones I've seen aren't a very nice part though.

Sherman & Assoc. offers a patch but it's very crude. Save as much of the original as possible.

I used one on the drivers side fender but ended up finding a rust free original a year later. It took a lot of work to look "right".

amd makes a bitch'n fender patch with the brace, they're pricey though i think 150 or so (i got it a year or two ago). do a search for jims auto body in connecticut thats where i got it from

image.jpgI just got my AMD left fender patch delivered today and I am very pleased. Gauge is just like original and having the brace seperate is nice.

Hello,The fender is the same, but the moulding holes are different If you use other than a 500 fender you have to weld the holes and redrill no big deal

Yes AMD has a nice patch panel and inner brace!
