Hello guys, New to the forum, have owned a 65 Coronet 500 for 18 years. Finally decided to put some steel wheels and dog dish hubcaps on it. I have Weld wheels on it now.I question is what back spacing do I use on it. I want 15x 7's on the front and 15x 8's on the rear. I will be running 215x70 T/A radials on the front and 275x60 on rear. I think I want the 4 1/2 backspacing on the rear but I'm not sure.My weld wheels are the 4 1/2" but they have a real thick center.I want as deep as I can get without rubbing the wheel well.Anyone have steelies on thier Coronet? Any way here is all about my car. It has a 528 stroker motor built by Billy Loyd racing in New Haven WVA with a six pack setup on it, A TKO 600 5 speed and an 8 3/4 742 rear with 391 gears. All Legendary interior, I had a rotisserie restoration done on it 7 years ago and was painted 2005 Chrysler cool vanilla (original color was SS1 Ivory)It was a 21000 mile car when I bought it at the Mopar Nats in 1995.Original 318 poly with air ,auto ,ps,pb. and had been sitting for 15 or 16 years. I have been looking at this site for years and just never got around to joining. Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the site from another 65 coronet owner I have 15x8 4 1/2 backspacing steelies on the back of mine lots of good people here and a lot of knowledge.

What size and back spacing do you have on the front? 7" or 6" wide? I have "A" body disc brakes on mine.
