After searching High and Low in the Memphis area and the internet, I have found that there are no windshield wiper arms made for a 65 B -body. Rock Auto has one for the driver's (left) side, but no right. The ones on my Coronet 500 are the wrong length. I was just wondering what everyone else who has a 65 b body is using if they need one. I have the factory part numbers, but again, no right side available. The old, adjustable universal arms also don't exist. I tried AZ, NAPA, Car Quest, Advanced, Parts Voice and Len Dawson. I'm open to suggestions. Ebay shows one set of NOS for Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler but doesn't specify whether its for B or C body. I'm asking for clarification. What do you 62-65 B body guys use??? Thanks, moparist.

P.S. My e-mail address has changed and I'm trying to get it changed on the site. I left them a note.

65 Coronet wiper arms and blades

got a set

Since my post, I have ordered the set of NOS blades and wipers from ebay after the seller assured me they were for a 65 B-body. I also found some ANCO blades on AMAZON that should work. I believe they are 41-03 ANCO arms that are adjustable. Two AMAZON customers answered my query about fitment. One said they adjusted to fit his 71 Demon and another just said they would fit my 65 Coronet. These arms can be adjusted for length and have an adjustable tip for angle from what I could see on the image. I'm currently awaiting the shipment from the ebay seller. I'll let you know if they fit. If the boxes are intact, I'll be curious to see if the part numbers match the 65 parts book. Thanks for the replies received so far. Until I get operating wiper arms and blade, this journey isn't over. Thanks Plymouth63 (I used to have one and miss it dearly) I'll keep you in mind if these are a failure. Thanks Guys.:hello2: moparist

Sorry folks. Its been about three weeks since my last post on the wiper arm/blade saga. I received the arms and blades from the ebay seller. The were listed as NOS but were actually more like NORS. The end that connected to the wiper transmission was NOT bent like a knuckle to lay straight on the windshield and should have been. However, it was adjustable and was the correct length. The blade end of the arm had a rotating clip so that the blade could be adjusted to lay straight across the windshield, parallel to the lower chrome trim. I called the seller about the NOS comment and he said these were the arms and blades Chrysler sold as replacements to original. They worked for me and allowed the correct 12-inch blade for my 65 Coronet. I'm guessing that the 41-03 arms available on Amazon are similar if not the same. The original ANCO boxes had the ends torn off over the years so no part number was showing. The box for the arms did show the instructions for rotating the blades once installed on the arms. The blades need to be attached for leverage. Thanks to all who offered help. Now that I have wiper blades, I found out my Coronet has a variable speed wiper (no delay). I didn't know they were available in 65. All I need now is some rain! Thanks guys, you're great. moparist

My ark is about half done. How is yours coming? Two straight weeks of rain, a couple of "wind events", and over 70 trees down in my county. Meanwhile , I'm working on a trailer for a float we use for veteran's events. Its got a 20-foot submarine model on it. Talk about irony! (And NO! It doesn't have a HEMI in it.) moparist:headbang:

Tonight we're supposed to get the winds and storms again. I'm on top of a hill. The water is only up about half way. I had to use the generator Thursday night. Trees took out the power for 12 hrs.

You may need to put a hemi in that sub and make it operational. The water covers my drive way for several hours until it runs off.

Where are the experts that say we're drying up and no water?
Get ready for tonight
