Testing the waters for a possible trade, I would sell also. This is RACE car, and I want a Driver. I wont be asking outrageous prices as some do. This car is ever bit as nice as some want for twice the money. Car is just finished, lots and lots of new parts.
The car needs a headliner, front end alignment. Thats all I can think of, needs some minor details addressed to race. But this thing needs Nothing Mech to run start drive.
New paint
New Transmission ( Tranzact transbrake and Coan Custom 8" converter)
New Dana 60 Rearend (4.88 gears spool, Strange Axles rear disc brakes Caltracs will fit the largest of tires, now has 13x30 Hoosiers)
New Engine
Everything is New in this 572 Hemi...
-----------------------------------
World Pro 4.5 Bore Block
CNC Ported heads from Modern Cylinder (have flow sheets)
Solid Roller and 13.75:1 compression just like the original race Hemi's
Manton Push-rods, Dick Landy Roller Rocker system $$$
MP Ported Cross Ram Intake with Custom Carbs

also has everything a race car should, electric water pump, electric fan, ATI Super Damper.
Fuel system is all braided stainless line BG 280 Fuel pump with BG fuel filter.
Disc brakes front and bake.
This car looks as good as it runs too. New BC/CC Dupont Paint.
Inverted passenger Shock Tower.
It has some Nostalgia stuff that wasnt cheap but gives it the look that is second to NONE.
Accel Duel Point cable drive Dist which has been outfitted with modern ignition. Has moroso 5" Monster cable drive tach that works great.
MSD 7AL-2 Ignition and Pro Power Coil.. I have Over $1k in the ignition system easy.
New ARC Membrane state-of-art Switch panel.
I can go on and on, I dont know how much money i have in this thing, but its a ton in the engine alone.
Oiling system is as good as it gets.
Duel Line swinging Indy Pickup, moroso 10 qt pan, 3 qt Accusump accumulator and electric valve....
Awesome Nostalgia Hurst Lightning Rod Shifter, that not only is the slickest simplest shifter I have ever used at the track but looks better than any other shifter period..... I have $3K+ in the trans, converter, and shifter setup easy.
Never been raced, heck it has about 1 hour driveway run time on it. Easily make 850+hp!!!!!!!
I have tons of pictures, from the engine assembly earlier this year to the paint and body (from when it was started to finish), and also have video's of the engine running.
I could go on and on....I have $500 In those fancy AN fittings and hoses.
I would take $25K cash, I figure trade value will be $30K or more.
Im looking for a nice driver E-body (Big Block 4-speed a big +) Not to worried about numbers matching either. Or 68-69 Road Runner or Charger also..
OF EQUAL VALUE Might trade down Some with cash...
Sorry NO Projects
I might look at some New Mopar's also

Engine, trans and rear must have cost that much, getting the car for free

Just from the looks of things I am thinking just that much for the engine alone.

Probably the cost of paint and material for the car is over $1K. Rust free 1965Plymouth sedan bodies typically bring at least $10K.

Anyway you slice it the seller is taking a big bath on it even if he did every bit of work on it himself.

Where was this 3mos. ago? I'd of bought it in a heartbeat! looks well worth the price! You can hardly build it for that! Nice ride.Have you made any passes with it?

No passes. I built 90% of the car at my house, the rear end and trans was very cheap compared to the engine.

Before you sell, look at my driver in thread "New Guy from Michigan". I have 55K in that car and it's virtually brand new.
