I have a 65 Satellite with 440, auto, and power steering. My present headers are cracked. Will 68-70 440 factory H O manifolds work on my car and is there any headers that will just drop in without taking torsion bars, steering box, and other things off? Thanks in advance.

Yes! the b-body ex.manifolds will fit.You might have to remove the heat rise! The shaft is really close to the shock tower,if you do weld the holes up.

I have 68-69 HP manifolds on my 65 coronet wagon with a 383/4 speed. The closet thing is the passenger manifold to the RH passenger side shock tower.
With a 440 you might have to loosen the motor mounts and raise the engine up on that side to set it down in. Hope that helps, Matt

Yes. I dumped the headers in favor of 1968 Roadrunner manifolds on my 1965 Coronet. Fit perfectly. Just had to get the proper studs and nuts for mounting tha manifolds to the heads. Available at Mancini. I did have to raise the right side of the engine off of the motor mount in order to get the manifold over the studs. I also used exhaust manifold gaskets rather than putting the manifolds right against the heads dry. No leaks, no problems. Looks "stock".

HP manifolds

Just reinstalled the HP manifolds on the 440 in my 64 wagon last weekend. As it has been said before; the engine has to be lifted on the passenger side to install the manifold.
