'65 Satellite Glove Box Liner

Ok...this is gonna sound stupid but, when I took the interior out of my Satellite, the glove box liner essentially disintegrated in my hands. No problem, right? Replacement liners are easily found. The only problems is, there is virtually no room under the dash to slide the new one in place. How on earth do you get a new glove box liner to go in without destroying it in the process? Tips anyone?

You have to remove the heater box and the radio and other stuff. It will go. It will not go through the front

I replaced mine while the dash was out. The repop glove box liner was still a pain to work with. Had to do some trimming, the side screw holes did not line up, the folds are iffy at best.
