good morning, i emailed Joe Phillips regarding possibly making 66-67 trunk extensions, he said that he could and would make them but he needed a template to build these... Would anyone have a real nice drivers side extension that you could send him as a template, mine is too far gone.. the driver side has the fuel fill tube hole so i assume that would be the tougher one to make, he could then easily make the other side... alot of us bought the AMD quarters and are tired of waiting for the extensions... he gave me a ballpark estimate to build these, reasonable... can anyone help get this started?

Rich I live in Thunder Bay and know Joey quite well. I have a '67 GTX and will let him measure up the extensions. I am out of town until the end of next week however.

i emailed him last night, he mentioned that he knew someone with a 67 GTX and that he could possible make a paper template from that car...thanks for helping out, his work is amazing...Rich

yes, Joe emailed me 2 weeks ago, his buddy was bringing his 67 GTX over to his shop so he can make a paper template.. Joe seems very agreeable to start making these drop offs.

so i spoke with joe the other day about making the trunk extensions, the car that he was going to get the extensions template from didnt work out.. does anyone have an original extension that they could send him or the skills to make a quailty paper template, he will make these for us he just needs an original piece.. thanks Rich

I am going to have the right rear full quarter panel made too..........
Joe made me the left one several years ago that I will be installing soon..........I will then have perfectly straight rear quarters.
he does really nice work.

only part on mine that is bad is lower on pass side . all the rest is good

The left side quarter was repaired horribly on mine........ the right side not so much.
I dont know if any of the trunk panel extensions will ever be reproduced after the two year pandemic.
parts are hard to fine or non existing do to there values for the 67s.
