Hi im Jesse, i'm 18 years old and got my first muscle car to restore recently a 66 Dodge charger with a 361. A couple of days ago I was rolling down the drivers side rear window and I think the back half came off track or something, because it doesn't come up half the time and it really loose, Any ideas?

It's a pain in the butt, but you need to take out the rear seat & interior on that side. Just take a look at what is going on. There are plastic clips & rollers that can break, get a flat spot worn on them or just come out of the track like you suspect. It will be pretty obvious once you can see it & most, if not all, of the small parts you'd need are available. I bet you can fix it for $10 (& 2 days work)

...and if you do some searches here and at the 66-67Charger.com forum, you'll find some photos of the area in question where other folks showed their repair issues and fixes.

good luck and keep plenty of cold beverages nearby for "coping", or at least some Zoloft or similar.

Congratulations! You have an awesome car. 66/67 is far more complex and has far more parts vs later mopars.

The rear windows are a bear to deal with. These pictures helped me.

Thank you for the info, ill need it, and ill upload more pictures of my process on the car as soon as it gets further along!

I did a write up with pics search my user name here or on 66/67 charger forum I forget which

the roller & guide kits are available...about $80 a kit, which will do both rear windows...I have the kit, but have not tackled either rear window in my 66 yet
