I believe 66 was the last single cylinder master year

I believe 66 was the last single cylinder master year

Thats what I thought every disk brake car I ever seen had a duel master cylinder this one has a single master cylinder with front disk
then the drum brake car has a duel master cylinder some thing is just not right
I never seen a stock 66 coronet with disk brake
I know the 67 GTX had drum and some had disk
I had a coronet 500 back in the 70s and it had a single master cylinder
Now that,I am 64 its on my bucket list to have another one the yellow one is nice but need some work The red one was really nice but the brakes don't look right :werd:

you could get a disc brake car in 66 with single master cylinder....but those are not factory 4 piston disc brakes on that red car...those have been added at some point and they are single piston style

A single pot master was the norm in ALL US cars through the end of the 1966 model year. It became a Federal requirement in the 1967 model year (FVMSS) for all new cars and pickups sold in the US to have a dual master cylinder. And, yes, the 1966 disc brake cars have a SINGLE pot master cylinder.

On the yellow car, it's possible that the dual master cylinder is original...depends on the build date...I have a number of Chargers that are late 66 cars that have dual master cylinders from the factory

Ok the yellow one throw me a cuve
Like the red one but both cars are nice the yellow one needs some work the 361 is a good engine
I had a few of them and allways liked them the red one has the 440 the a great engine to

the 440 is not original in the red one either....was not available in 66
