Looking for some help, want to modify my 66 Coronet Pro Street to a straight axle....any advise would be greatly appreciated...

^ Like he said thats a gasser look. Speedway (and a few others) sell full kits, tho they will only be ford or chevy (ford will be fine), I guess cos they are more popular, but also because mopar had stopped using straight axles by the time the gasser look got popular. Even tho it was the Ramchargers 'High and Mighty' 50 plym that started the 'gasser' look with its coil independent front suspension.

Oh should say most of the day were tube, but i-beams were about. I'd use tube as the i-beams were designed to have an amount of flex in them. if you want to buy second hand, just look for any twin leaf front end from (27 mopar only) 36ish (ford maybe chev) on til about mid to late 40's... ford and chev went longer with the design but not sure when til...
