66 or 67 charger dash needed non a/c

I have tried testing and replacing everything in my 66 charger dash and I'm afraid the dash itself is fried. Non of the gauges work except the speedo, which is mechanical and the lights don't work either. I have the ground strip in at the top, I've tested the controller, and bought a replacement, I have power coming out of the controller but no lights. I've also switched out the headlight switch incase the dimmer was shot but that hasn't helped either. My question to you all is, does anyone sell restored gauge clusters in exchange for a core or restore them if I send in my core? I know ab&e makes the lenses and such but I need the actual gauge mechanism itself. Any info would be appreciated.

Fried Dash

You sure you have the 5 volts (or whatever it's supposed to be) for gauge operation coming from the gauge cluster voltage limiter?

I'm aware of one or two gauge re-builders from the 66-67 Charger.com forum and/or DodgeCharger.com forum. And I think one of those also has a good list of parts and service links. Oh, and also some gauge repair and troubleshooting articles. I'll send another message once I locate the references.

X2 66-67 charger.com is a great place to check for info on those dashes. I had mine rebuilt by Topher from that site; very nice guy and he did a great job. It took a while, but he does it on the side. He also rebuilds headlight motors. Good luck, those dashes are pricey!

There is a guy from the Rochester area also- thegaugedoc.com I saw him in Carlisle and he had some nice stuff.
