Just viewed a video of a start up of a 1967 440 charger. In the video it appears that a choke is activated by pulling a knob on the left side of the steering column. A light between the two centre round dials lights up. Could this be a factory choke ? It appears to match all the other knobs. I thought by 1967 all makes and models had automatic chokes ??
What say you ?
Thanks for any and all input

No that's likely the headlight switch and the light your referring to is probably the not locked light.
The original choke would be a bimetallic divorced style setup.

Post the link to the video.

There aren’t any knobs to pull. You have lights, headlights hold open which has a red light. Headlight is a toggle switch. Google 67 Charger and you should find the controls.

I did Google instrument panel for a 1967 charger and didn't see anything similar. I did see a t-handle that looked like a inside hood release. This T-handle was on the left of the steering column in line with the headlight and wiper switch

I don't think I've seen a 67 with an inside hood release. Maybe just coincidence but I've only seen them on 66s.

All correct. T handle on the right side 66 only.
Someone pulled the light switch.
