67 Coronet Grill Differences R/T vs 500?

Are there any differences between a 67 Coronet R/T grill vs 500 or 440 grills besides colors and the center piece? I have a 67 R/T and wondering if a 500 grill will bolt up and work without modification. Thanks

500 grill has spray of semi flat black on it. The 440 series grill is the same as an R/T grill with the exception of the centre piece.

Center piece for r/t grill very hard to come by. Once in a rare while ill come across a repop in ebay but big bucks!

In addition the 500 Headlight bezels have 2 extra pieces of trim on them, and a cut out for the grill trim. If you remove the trim there are holes left behind. So you can’t really use a 500 bezel on anything else.

You can take the bezels and have a good tig welder fillmin the holes and then use them. just need to you 3/32 filler rod and tungsten
