'67 Coronet Project

It has been quite a while. Progress has been slow. Sometimes, life gets in the way.... But, starting to work on her again. IMAG0486.jpgIMAG0487.jpgIMAG0657.jpgIMAG0682.jpg

Can finally fit some fat rubber under her... Whoever designed the wheel wells on the '67's definitely wasn't on their game that day!

Making some progress.

Tires are old school size N50-15's. I physically could go wider/taller, but with the quarter panel skirt I imagine they would be a real pain to get on and off. These look pretty badass! Rear came out great. Detroit locker with Strange 4.10's, Mark Williams Pro Street axles with 5/8" studs. I didn't mount the Wilwood calipers or the Caltracs yet. Painted the engine today though. Small victories.

Yes. Springs were relocated into the frame rail. I'm using caltrac monoleafs.

Starting in on final assembly of the motor. Going to have it dyno'd hopefully by the end of the year. How about a poll? How much power/torque? Here's what she's got:

440 Source 400/512 stroker kit
Pistons are .005" above deck, .045 Cometic gaskets. Compression works out to 10.6:1
Indy EZ Max Wedge heads fully CNC ported by Modern. Flow 349cfm @ .600, 356cfm at .700
Lunati solid roller 60333, 279/285 adv. duration, 249/255 a .050, .585/.600 lift
Harland Sharp 1.6 roller rockers bring lift to .624/.640
Isky EZ roll max lifters
Indy single plane low deck max wedge intake
FITECH Go EFI-8 fuel injection

So what do you think? I will post the numbers good or bad when it's done.

Nice numbers! Better get that badboy stuffed in before winter hits and you can do some driving.

Great work.
