Thanks to everyone for the help. I will see what my guy can do to get all the unnecessary stripes removed. You all say a little prayer, as I found out this afternoon that although the paint is almost perfect on this car except for the extra pin stripes, it is thin. 3 to 4 mils, per his gauge.
Expensive to me, $2400 for everything. Still a lot cheaper than a paint job, even at cost. No way am I going to paint a survivor car, unless it's due for a total restoration. It looks almost factory fresh to me. I stopped one time on the way back and it drew a crowd. One person said great restoration to which I replied, no original. His answer was BS...and the bill, drum roll !!! lol
