Even 1/2 inch can make the difference if I fit in a car or not.
Depends on your spine.
Those spacers put my head into the headliner.
In most cars my eyes line up with the top 1 inch of the windshield if I'm looking straight ahead.
I drove a 2005 Dakota for work for quite a while, and I had to remove the headliner and swing the visor down next to the A pillar in order to fit and see.
