Wish you'd gotten hear sooner, looks like we could have swapped some ideas. Looks like your using Vintage Air and rewiring your car as well, would have liked to seen this one go together. I really, really like what your doing with it, color, wheels, etc "sweet bird". Please, more car **** and fill us in on your build, what motor are you going to use, tranny etc?:headbang:

yeah its been an experience for sure. the a/c system is from classic auto air and its a complete painless harness.

Welcome to the forum! That is a awesome color your doing on that bird, Looking great!!

Ive been looking at the Killer Krate from muscle motors. Its just the hp/torque spec im looking for and the guys there seem like they know a think or two about B/RB engines. Trans is a TKO-600 from Keisler. Rear is a Moser built Dana 60 3.54

What kind of pulleys are those? That looks awesome!!!

Single billet ones from 440source. I tried hard not to have any chrome, just billet aluminum or factory steel.

Drew welcome to FBBO, Nice color combo Silver & Black Baby...LOL... I don't have an 69.5 A-12 Clone but I do have a real 68 RR with an 69.5 A-12 lift off hood & a 383/479ci 6bbl under it, need to be finished, 67k mile car that needed some seriously creased panels & body repairs, it will be the original color LL1 Surf Turquois & Black hood & accents when it's finally done...

that car looks tough, the stance is just right. I had thought about building a 400 block I have. How do you like the six barrel setup?

Thanks for the comments, it will be a little lower in the front when I finally get around to doing more adjustable tubular suspension & better disc brake stuff... My 6bbl I love it... I've had a 6bbl/Six Pack on something or other for 38+ year now, it's a great combo, you can drive around on a 350cfm-500cfm 2bbl {or more}, when you want more power, just hit the loud peddle, it's best of both worlds IMHFO anyway, dive-ability & performance for a hot street/strip car...

I used a 400 with the 440 crank in mine, had to be punched out .060" so it's now a 456". According to allot of the reading I've done (some of which was by Muscle Motors) the 400 block is the way to go.

I agree, I really don't like chrome at all "I like the all business look".engine bay.jpg

Car is looking good. I've got a 6 pack hood on my RR. Wife likes it so it's staying.

this thing is gonna be ridiculous! Love everything you're doing w/ her...

Drew, how hard was it to mount the evaporator box to the firewall? How much cutting and welding holes did you do? Im gonna order mine monday morning, btw I bought your wheels too. You remember what size tires you used?
