68 & 69 Ignition Switch Different or Not ? Pics ?

Anyone know if there is a difference between the 68 & 69 ignition switches ? Maybe some pics ? TIA

Yes they are different.

The 68 is smaller around, the nut that attaches it to the dash is also smaller... And, if there's a light te hle in it too is smaller

1969 is 60 % physically bigger than the 1968.....
I reproduced the 1969 Ignition Switch and 1969 Ignition Tumbler --- both 1969 ONLY --- and have them Brand New , if you want them.....

That terminal is not used on the B-Bodies. It is used on C-Bodies. We had a discussion on this a few weeks back.

Can originals be taken apart and repaired? I have a 69 one that acts fine but when the car is running, a simple touch or wiggle of the key turns the car off. Swapping in a new one cured that problem.
