After you guys experience and knowledge, am in planning stage for a 440-500ci build for a 68 charger, was thinking of using edelbrock victor heads and manifold, with a Holley carb, but I need to keep it all under the hood, jus wondering if this possible if not what do u recommend, Cheers Steve..

all depends on the manifold.i ran a 68 charger with a torqer II and a holley,it just barely fit.(air cleaner rubber the hood insulation)no way a victor is gonna fit under the hood.make sure you match the manifold rpm range to your cam power band.whats the power band of the cam you will be running and what are you gonna use the car for?

Cool thanx guys.. I havnt decided in cam specs yet, but engine builder wants to use a hydraulic roller, car will jus be used as a tough street car and occasional strip use.. But I wud like to keep it all under the hood, so I'm jus trying to work out what will fit and go from there as to what I will use.. Cheers

The Victor intake will NOT clear any hood in any car that Ma Mopar made. I have a Performer RPM that only clears because I have a dropped base in my air cleaner. The Victor intake is something like an inch and a half taller than mine.
