If you are planning on driving this car regularly and for long distances, a 6.1 and overdrive trans would be the ticket. Go with the factory FI set up and a 3.91 or 4.10 rear and you will have the best of both worlds, out the hole pickup and top end fuel economy. Lots of restomod B bodies out there. Also some good deals on late model takeout drivetrains http://www.ebay.com/itm/06-300C-SRT...pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr
Keepin it real and building the 440 (71) that came with the car. This is a pic when dropping it off at Mikes shop in Enumclaw. I am heading down the shop tomorrow to (mostly watch and learn from a true master) pull it apart and see whats inside! Going for about 500hp w/ build. Also dropped off the trans with Harry at power-shift in Woodinville as well!

These are a couple shots from last week. I hope to be in primer tomorrow. Motor is apart and all parts for it have been ordered. also parts for front and rear end.
Agtree I just wanted to ask you if you are familiar with a salvage yard up there in Kirkland? I'm looking for some parts for my 70RR and thought maybe you know where? I don't think I ever been to that place.
Exciting finally seeing it all one color and straight as an arrow, all the work that goes into bringing one back makes for all the more appreciation and enjoyment. Good luck
