Hi everyone!
I have aftermarket sway bar on 68 Charger from previous owner with strange braket for bushings, that mounts with only one bolt to k-member. May be someone knows what sway bar it is and what's correct mount?

Must be a C body bar or something. It is too long on the ends and upside down besides. Possibly a rear sway bar but I have no clue other than it is not correct.

i have that same sway bar. i haven't put it on my 69 yet, but it looks correct for 68 and 69's... 70's are shorter on the ends. and its definitely upside down. that center dip points up to clear the brace that connects the lower radiator core support to the k-member.

That bar is not a mid 66 to 69 B body swaybar. Someone jury rigged some mounts to make it fit. There are lots of suppliers online that have the correct bars, and mounts. Firm feel, PST., Hotchkiss etc.

That sway bar has to be bolted directly to the K frame. and it is upside down, if it belongs there at all.(too long) and That bar bracket is not a 68 charger. You can see the holes on the k member behind the bar where it is supposed to be.

Yeah, I guess it could be the correct bar but for sure it is upside down and has the wrong brackets. Here is a pic of mine. Mine has aftermarket brackets and links that are different than the factory pieces but fit in the factory holes.

That is aftermarket, look how big the diameter is, that’s how they fit, it don’t go on the other way like a stock one. You’ve got what it is and that’s all it will ever be.

keep looking for an original, all chargers came standard with the sway bar.

The hard part to find is if the original lower A frame is there. all other B bodies did not have the eyelet for the bar unless it had the optional bar.
I have the bar. my bar has the original attachment to bolt to the K member on it.You can also convert to the 70-71 roadrunner/GTX style, but you have to change the lower A frame. I have one of those as well.

What? That sounds so sad lol...

Good morning. Im hoping you still have this car and can help.

I have an old "quickor" brand sway bar from the early 2000s that was brand new but never installed. It looks very similar to this.

Can you share some more photos of the end links that connect to the lower control arms? (I believe the ones supplied with mine are incorrect)

And maybe also those front mounting brackets?

I'm trying to install mine and I lost the instructions.

Thanks,
Jeff
