68 charger with A883 4 speed electrical problem

Hi guys i own a 68 charger 440 with A883 4 speed, i recently upgraded the gauges to electric and have installed the electric speedo module on the side of the box it hits on the hurst shifter rods and also when it is installed it gets in the way of the backup light switch on the side of the box, is there a way to get around this, will post pics if needed

On my 69 Bee I had to put the module on the other end ot the speedo cable up near the dash cluster.

okay let me get this right you put the speedo cable back on the side of the box ran it up to the back of the gauges and put the module on that end of the speedo?, then plugged the wires from the mudule to the gauge?
