I'm putting my '68 Coronet 500 up for sale due to a necessary move. I have been told by someone I believe to be a reliable source that this car is one of only 518 cars to come out of the factory with the 383/4-spd combination. Remember, this is a Coronet 500, not a Super Bee. As far as I can tell it is numbers-matching and it is not as bad as the pictures would lead you to believe. It came through Green/Green, buckets/console, and a 3:23 posi (Never been apart)... It does start/run, moves around the yard. I will be continuing to tinker with it to get it road-drivable, which lacks only decent tires, exhaust and to fix the wipers. In as-is condition the price is $8,500.00 negotiable, once the car is put in road-worthy condition it is a firm price. Also note that there is a sizable dent in the L/H 1/4 panel (Compliments of my Mom bumping into it with her Honda) and that the old crappy Cragars will not be on it, but rather steelies (Came factory with the dog dish caps..a factory sleeper!!) The brakes are new including the proper lines from Fine Lines, and a new clutch was installed a few years ago....There are parts included with the car such as a good grille, rear taillight eyebrows, hubcaps, window trim, etc. Please be serious in your inquiries. I don't feel the price is out of line given the rarity and completeness of the car....PM me if interested. Thanks for your time.

I got one PM requesting contact info, responded but no reply. It is now registered and I have taken it up the road under it's own power and it does run strong, but, naturally things will start showing up as this car hasn't run on it's own down the road in a good 30 years... Have a radiator on order at the moment, and also awaiting state paperwork. They gave me temporary paperwork as the car hasn't been registered for so long. I cannot sell it until I get that paperwork, so its up in the air right now.
