Hi,
First of all, I'm new to the site so I hope I don't offend everyone by asking too much on my first post. I bought a 68 Coronet convertible with only 37K miles on it. Pretty clean car. I enjoy doing pro touring/resto-rods so I'm trying to figure out what works and doesn't work.
Here is a list of the main things I'd like to do and get some opinions on whether it has or can be done.
1. Can I use a front cradle and suspension from a new Chrysler 300?

2. Can I use the independent rear suspension from a new Chrysler 300?

3. I like the tail panel from the 69 RT. Will that fit the contours of the 68?

Other plans are for a supercharged SRT engine and six speed transmission, full custom interior and clean up the body and bumpers.

Anyone who has experience and/or suggestions, I'd like to hear from you.
If you want me to post pictures of the progress, let me know.

Thx

Bought a 2016 Charger RT with 500 miles from CoPart. The 68 Coronet convertible body is now sitting on the 2016 RT chassis. Had to shorten the 16 3". There was a lot of sheet metal patching to do but, overall, this is a pretty fun project.

Do you have any pictures?
