I have a 68 Coronet R/T that I'm in the process of restoring. I've run the fender plate code through two on line decoders it cames back with Silver Metallic for the full body color. No surprise there we have found several locations on the car where the original paint is visible with a bit of sanding. What we can't quite figure out is the rest of the description.
Black (Dodge, Plymouth), Formal Black (Chrysler, Imperial) Upper Door Frame Color. Bright Blue Metallic (Dodge) Racing Stripe. Black Horizontal Accent Stripe.
The car has had full rear quarter replacement and the trunk lid is not the original so there is no way to look for a rear stripe around the fenders and trunk and we have been unable to find any paint color other than silver on the car. Believe me we have looked.
Can anyone tell me where the stripes indicated would be located on the car?
Thanks
