in the scheme of things today, prices
I assume you could get it for less

it needs everything & then some
RUST repair anyone
(no motor/trans etc., tip of the iceberg)

it'd be a big project for someone,
if you have the skills & proper tools
otherwise;
IMO it's a huge money-pit,
if you have to pay someone else to do it all

I once wanted one of them too, pref. a convertible
I waited too long
I doubt I will find one, not for what I'm willing to pay
& far more complete car, to begin with
