The OP asks about a '62 Dart which all Mopar people know is a B-body, you answered with a pedantic rant about A-bodies. So, who is the one spouting gibberish?
Are you really this dense or just looking to piss me off? You hit disagree on a post of mine and moments later, objected to a post I made here.
Still confused, Dipstick?Your title and your question don't match? Guys have said they used 66 k members in 62 to 65 cars to move engine back an inch or so. Don't see why you can't use a push button trans but you need ALL the gear cables buttons etc.from donor car.
If the OP wanted help, he should have been clearer.
Why should anyone have to try hard to help someone? I like helping people but when they make it difficult, **** it....They are on their own. I will take the time to respond to an idiot that wants to argue despite making himself look worse with each response.
In case you are still cannot see how the OP is not helping himself....
IN THE TITLE it reads " 68 K member in a 62 Dart".
Mopar people know that a K member is the engine crossmember. K does not stand for Krossmember no matter how you seem to spell it. It is called a K member because it resembles the capital letter K.
A K member has nothing to do with the way that a transmission cable fits.
