Your title and your question don't match? Guys have said they used 66 k members in 62 to 65 cars to move engine back an inch or so. Don't see why you can't use a push button trans but you need ALL the gear cables buttons etc.from donor car.

Mopar people know that a K member is the engine crossmember. K does not stand for Krossmember no matter how you seem to spell it. It is called a K member because it resembles the capital letter K.
A K member has nothing to do with the way that a transmission cable fits.

Oh? Installing a later K-member in a early B moves the engine/trans back 1 5/8". Try plugging in a shift or park cable with the trans moved back. BTDT.
