68 Plymouth Satellite

I have a chance to purchase what is either a 68 or 69 Plymouth Satellite. It has the grill with square holes. Of course it's a 4 dr. Is there any market for these? Do the front fenders and hood fit road runners? I usually hang out over on A bodies. I have over 2000 posts there and am a gold member. Any help would be appreciated. I will get pictures this weekend and post them.

Square holes would be a 1968 Jeff. The fenders are identical to a roadrunners.. The hood will fit and has an identical outlying outside, but the roadrunners had hood inserts.

Market.....As far as the 68/69 satellite 4 doors, a majority of them we see coming across here are going as parts cars. There is a few gents on here with some real nice 4 door drivers/show. Money wise, a relative comparison would be what you see over at A-Bodies with the 4 door Darts, Valiants...ect..

Don't forget the `68s have the round side marker lights, again same as the a-bodies. Welcome to FBBO!

Then it might be worth getting to part out. What would a nice set of front fenders bring?

68 Satellite Here - I would be in the market for a few parts if it is in good condition.

Need wiper washer pump, dimmer dial switch, etc - put me on the list if you pick it up.

Went and looked at the car today. For what the guy wants for it there is no way I could part it out and come out ahead. Lots of hail damage on the sheet metal plus all the usual old person dings along with some rust in the front fenders. Interior is rough as hell.

There are a lot of those out right now. Sombodys been watching too much tv and thinks an old 4 dr should bring good money cause the 2 drs bring a fortune. Since the economy tanked ive been watching a lot of cars. Seems like most for sale are expected to bring enough to get a family of 6 out of debt. Maybe one in ten is a fair deal. About one in 25 or so is a good deal. Keep watching theyre still out there just have to weed thru the crap.
