Hello, sorry a question like this is my first post , but what is the said value on a 1968 blue/blue 4speed 383/335 hp car nearly complete..mostly in boxes and needing floors, trunk, rear quarter work? Have an interested party wanting a price and I am willing to let it go so that I can put the scratch into my 72 satellite ...I paid 1200 for the car 3 years ago and have since collected many many parts for the resto.....I would feel comfortable by receiving around 2000-2200 for the car and parts..I just don't want to be unfair and be the guy who asks an unreasonable price for a hardcore project...he seems very eager to get the deal done and a local guy here said to check in here....not sure of his handle but he runs a white/black 69 RR, names Chris...any way just trying to test the waters for a price that is in the market range for a car needing all this labor...and thanks for reading/hearing me out.

Seeing pics would help.....but I've seen cars sell for upwards of 5000 bucks but without having a complete list of parts that go with it and seeing pics, it's hard to place a value on it....

Depends on what other parts you have to go with it I've seen basket cases go for $5K-$6K here in California, but they weren't rust buckets & most all the original parts were all there, need a more complete description of what is included with the purchase & what condition it's all in, any of theses parts included? engine, trans, rear end, interior, glass, trim, etc.????? Would it be easy to transport, is it a roller? or just a shell? Good luck with your projects & sale...

It's a roller with rotten trunk, floors, and needs the torsion box replaced or repaired...rear qurters need work....only missing pieces are the seats front windshield and grill...engine is date code correct 335hp 383 with all else original drive train....parts include all dash pads..69 buckets..bumpers...extra trunks hoods...all trim, side markers...extra dog house...k member form the south.and other pieces for the resto...thanks for the messages..I have a good idea now that I am in the ball park for this type of a project...didn't want to gouge, but didn't want to loose either.

Sounds like a decent reasonable buyer, not trying to low-ball you to much, if your OK with the price do it, that's near about what the sum of the parts are worth...

Does it have a fender tag? What was the original color inside/out? Price sounds fair to me, if buyer backs out let me know!

ya im ok with it, I was trying to be fair as I can...Im not in it to make money..just get it back out...the car was going to end up crushed and I always wanted a 68 coronet so I bought it to keep it together and now find myself with a lil more than I can handle, just moved into new house 2 years ago and trying to get a new building up for storage and body work but currently in a 2 bay garage...it deserves better than I can give it atm....plus the boss says "its either your satellite or the road runner, but you have to many cars and we don't have that much money,"....so off it goes.

ya it has the original fender tag....its alot harder to figure out than the 70 and up tags...what numbers ya looking for?....its a blue blue...383 4 speed...R M in the vin...I'll put ya on the list, If the original buyer backs down then its going to go to some one on here I have no doubt. alot of response to it, makes me happy to know it will be appreciated by another mopar nut

That's funny... You better listen to the boss, some words of wisdom, say "yes dear"... Good sayings are "it's cheaper to keep her", "a happy wife is a happy life"...LOL...
